VII. Internationalen Kongress über den Weinbau in Bergregionen

Due to the ongoing emergency, the organization of the 7th International Congress of Mountain and Steep Slopes Viticulture is SUSPENDED! In April the organizing committee will take a final decision on the new date.


The 7th International Congress on Mounatin and Steep Slopes Viticulture has been postponed to a later date. Organized by Cervim, University of Tras-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD), Associação para o Desenvolvimento da Viticultura Duriense (ADVID) and faculty of sciences of the University of Porto.

 The congress “Extreme Viticulture: from a cultural landscape to an economic and environmental sustainability" 

 4 sessions are planned:

Session 1 : Maintaining sustainability and landscape in steep slope Vineyards

Session 2 : Mountain and steep slope Vineyards: agronomic practices thru new technologies

Session 3 : Quality factors for "wines" 

Session 4 : Mountain and steep slope Vineyards: people, history, economics and culture

 The deadline for submission of abstracts is November 15th.
