Giovanni known as Gianni Giardina was born in Canicattì (Sicily) in 1964 and trained as an enologist.

Prominent personality of Sicilian and non-Sicilian wine, he performs the function of Executive Officer and Inspector at the Institute Vine and Wine of Palermo.
