Alessandra Dinato

Dignity does not consist in owning honors, but in deserving them. Aristotle

Alessandra Dinato, from Veneto, born in 1985, started to chase the world of wine for fun at the age of 16 when, at the hotel institute of Castelfranco Veneto, she had fun guessing the characteristic aromas of wines in some essenzali oils. Discovering a world that fascinates, and for which you also feel brought, was a fortune that led her with passion to become AIS Sommelier at the age of 21. A few years later, she worked as a sommelier in London’s starred restaurants including Maze by Gordon Ramsay 1* and The Square by Phil Horward 2*.
Looking for comparison and broadening her horizons in the world of wine, in 2016 she obtained a Diploma from the London Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET).
In 2020 and 2021 she taught tasting techniques in a master’s degree at the Catholic University of Brescia.
She is currently involved in exports to the United States, offering her advice to restaurants and individuals for purchases and investments. Her greatest passion is heroic viticulture and for many years she has participated in the tastings of the Mondial des Vins Extrêmes..
She recently opened her own Youtube channel "L'Assaggiastorie" where she expresses her creativity by telling the stories of some winegrowers and their territories through short documentary videos, many of them dedicated to heroic viticulture.
